About Our Provider

Hello, my name is Magdalen Mekoh and I am here to help if you are struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, alcohol and substance use disorders, and other psychiatric disorders. If you feel that things are not going well and you want to talk to someone to identify what is wrong, I am here to help. I believe in getting to the root of issues, so I try to provide a platform for patients to express themselves, and together we try to touch the root cause of their problems instead of just treating symptoms.We offer individual and group therapy, medication management, and other services to help our patients achieve their goals.  

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) licensed in Kentucky. I obtained my master's degree from Northern Kentucky University. Before then, I worked as a Registered Nurse in hospitals, nursing homes, and in an inpatient detox facility. I use medication management and psychotherapy. We explore what made you seek help and then decide on the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. With medication management and CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better. 

I believe that care should be personalized to meet each person’s specific needs. So, I will work collaboratively with you to provide care that will alleviate your symptoms. I offer psychiatric assessment and diagnoses, medication management, and psychotherapy.
